System Updates

ArkKVM supports Over-the-Air (OTA) updates to keep your device equipped with the latest features, performance improvements, and security patches.

Update Options​

  • Manual Updates: By default, automatic updates are disabled. You can check for and install available updates at any time via the web interface.
  • Automatic Updates (Recommended):When enabled, ArkKVM will periodically check for updates in the background and install them automatically to ensure your device is always running the best version. If an update is available but hasn’t been installed automatically, you can update it manually.

Zero-Interruption Policy​

We understand that KVM access is mission-critical. Updates will never interrupt an active session. * If the device is currently in use, the update will be deferred until the device is idle.

  • Note for Power Users: If you maintain long-running, persistent sessions (e.g., sessions lasting days or weeks), we recommend checking for updates manually to ensure you don't miss critical stability fixes.
